The Project
Human Rights Open Ebook is a collaborative editing project for human rights education.Our goal is to create an Open Ebook through the collaborative editing platform with a crowdsourcing approach.
The users (storytellers) can tell their experiences in defending and promoting human rights with text, video, photos and audio. They can also interact with other storytellers, reading others experiences, commenting and supporting the online community. After the collection phase, the Scientific Board will examine and study all the material on the platform.
The result will be a multimedia handbook collecting all the storytellers’ experiences with approaches, methodologies and examples for the human rights education.
The proceeds from the sale of the Open Ebook will be distributed to all the institutions, operators and NGOs that took part in the project and it will be used to support all the activities they organized in defending and promoting human rights.
